Dedicated to Lord Shiva & Parvati
Pradosh Vrat falls on the Trayodashi tithi (13th day) of each lunar fortnight. The vrat is observed during the pradosh kaal — 1.5 hours before and after sunset. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped during this sacred window. It is believed that all gods gather on Mount Kailash during Pradosh kaal, making this the most potent time for Shiva worship. The Shani Pradosh (falling on Saturday) and Soma Pradosh (Monday) are considered especially powerful.
