Dedicated to Lord Ganesha
Sankashti Chaturthi falls on the 4th day of the waning phase (Krishna Paksha Chaturthi) every month. It is one of the most important vrats for Lord Ganesha's devotees. The fast is broken only after sighting the moon and offering prayers — this moon-sighting is mandatory, not optional. When Sankashti falls on a Tuesday, it is called Angarki Sankashti and is considered exceptionally powerful — believed to fulfill even the most difficult wishes.
